For his daily work, the cooperation with other national authorities is just as important as international exchanges with partner authorities in other countries. In the field of Medicrime (pharmaceutical crime), violations are shifting more and more into the digital world. This is one reason why bits and bytes are also gaining importance at Swissmedic. The cases are investigated either by Swissmedic itself or in cooperation with other federal or regional/local authorities.

As former Lab assistant, Police Officer and Specialist for Communication Intelligence, Robert combines all his broad experience in his daily duty as Enforcement Officer. He holds an Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Telecommunication and has also completed various CAS, to mention in particular the basic education in law.
